Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the installation of a garden room really take?
The physical installation on your property takes less than 24 hours: lightweight foundation (half a day, one week before delivery), module positioning (30 minutes to 2 hours depending on model and extras).
The total lead time from order is 3-4 months, which includes manufacturing in our Spanish factory, transport and unloading.
NOOK is radically faster.
Do I need a licence for my garden room?
It depends on administrative regulations that can vary by municipality.
In many Spanish municipalities, independent structures under 10 m2 and up to 2.5 m in height can be processed with a Responsible Declaration or Prior Communication.
Permit management is the client's responsibility, but NOOK provides a complete technical dossier (plans, specifications, report) to facilitate your application once you have made your reservation.
For the NOOK Base we also provide a mobility certificate.
Is a garden room comfortable in winter?
Yes, if it is well built.
NOOK includes energy rating A with the same qualities as a new home.
It is not a basic wooden cabin that "insulates a bit". It is a space designed to be comfortable with large temperature differences outside.

What exactly does "turnkey" include?
Everything you need so your NOOK is ready to use:
- Foundation with supports or screw piles, including site study and levelling
- Mainland transport of the module from the factory
- Crane and professional installation team
- Complete module with high-quality finishes
- Installation of all chosen extras
- Furniture according to the chosen product
- Quality tests and signed checklist
Not included: Licence processing (we provide documentation), final electrical connection to your consumer unit (your electrician, 2-3 hours of work).
Is the reservation deposit refundable?
Yes, 100% refundable for 7 days after your reservation. Process:
- You reserve with your deposit (amount depending on model)
- You send us photos of your garden
- We validate feasibility within 2-4 days
- You have 7 days to decide – if you don't continue, full refund
If we proceed, the deposit is deducted from the final price. No surprises.
