How long does the whole process take?
8-12 weeks from confirmed order to installed NOOK. That includes 8-10 weeks of manufacturing, foundation preparation 2 weeks before delivery, and installation in a single day. Most customers are enjoying their NOOK within 3 months of their first consultation.
What does the reservation deposit cover?
Your reservation deposit secures your production slot and covers the technical validation of your site. It's applied in full to your final price — it's not an extra cost.
Can I get my deposit back?
Yes. If we determine your site isn't viable during technical validation, or if you change your mind within 7 days, your deposit is returned in full. No questions asked.
Do I need planning permission?
In many cases in the UK, NOOK units fall under Permitted Development rights, meaning no full planning application is needed. Requirements vary by local authority — we provide all technical documentation and can advise on your specific situation.
What if my site isn't viable?
If our technical team determines your garden can't accommodate a NOOK (access issues, ground conditions, etc.), your deposit is refunded in full. We'd rather be honest upfront than create problems later.
What does the turnkey price include?
Everything. Structure, premium insulation, double-glazed windows, electrical pre-installation, foundation (screw piles), delivery, crane placement, and installation. The only things not included are the final connection to your mains electricity and water, which a local tradesperson handles in a few hours.
How long does the actual installation take?
The crane places your NOOK in 2-3 hours. Including final connections and quality checks, your garden room is ready to use within half a day.
