Refund policy

Cancellation, Payment and Returns Policy - Espacio Nook

(Effective from July 2025. Supersedes and replaces any previous version.)

 

 

1. Reservation and deposit

  1. To secure your installation date you must pay a deposit of 999 EUR (or the amount stated in your quote).

  2. Once the deposit is received, we begin production of your Nook cabin in our factory.

  3. You have 7 calendar days from payment confirmation to cancel your order and receive a full refund of the deposit.

  4. From day 8 your cabin enters the bespoke production phase and the deposit is no longer refundable.

 

 

2. Balance payment

  • The remaining balance is paid according to the payment schedule agreed in your contract (for example, 50% at 4 weeks after reservation and 50% 10 days before assembly).

  • Once the 7-day cancellation period has elapsed, all payments are final and non-refundable, except in the event of an error attributable to Espacio Nook.

 

 

3. Bespoke cabins: no returns

Nook cabins are manufactured specifically for each client (dimensions, finishes, openings, electrical installation, etc.).
 Therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges once production has begun, in accordance with Art. 103(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU (goods made to the consumer's specifications).

 

 

4. Damage or issues during delivery/assembly

  • Inspect your Nook as soon as assembly is complete.

  • If you notice manufacturing, transport or installation defects, report them on site to the assembly team or email us at hello@nookprefab.com within a maximum of 48 hours with detailed photographs.

  • We will assess the issue and coordinate the repair or replacement of the affected parts at no cost to you.

 

 

5. Additional exceptions

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Clearance or "outlet" discount items.

  • Gift cards.

  • Climate control equipment, solar panels or other extras purchased from third parties once unpacked or installed.

 

 

6. Right of withdrawal (EU)

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods "made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised" (Art. 16(c) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150). Therefore, after the 7-day cancellation period your order is excluded from this right.

 

 

7. Authorised refunds

  • We will confirm receipt and approval of the refund by email.

  • The refund is processed to the same payment method used for the reservation within a maximum of 10 working days.

  • Your bank or card issuer may take longer; if 15 working days have passed since our confirmation and you still do not see the amount, please contact us.
