Can a prefab house be used as a guest room all year round?
Yes. The NOOK has thermal insulation with energy rating A and double glazing on all windows. It works in summer at 40°C and in winter with below-zero temperatures. You can add air conditioning as an extra if you want full climate control.
Does the NOOK guest room include a bathroom?
The NOOK Double can be configured with an integrated full bathroom: flush shower, compact toilet and countertop basin. Everything comes factory-installed. The NOOK Base does not include a bathroom option, but works as an independent bedroom with electrical connection.
Do I need planning permission to install a prefab room in my garden?
It depends on your municipality. Regulations vary by region and structure size. We provide all necessary technical documentation to facilitate the process. Permit management is the client's responsibility.
How long does the installation of a prefab house take?
Installation in your garden is completed in under one day – screw pile foundation (half a day, 2 weeks before delivery), crane placement and professional assembly. The total timeframe from reservation to having your room ready is approximately 10-12 weeks, including manufacturing and transport.
Can I use the guest room as a rental studio?
Many clients configure their NOOK Double with bathroom as accommodation for holiday rental platforms. It is an independent structure with its own entrance. Check your local council's regulations on holiday rentals before planning.
