Can a NOOK garden gazebo be used in winter?
Yes. Unlike an open gazebo or a pergola, the NOOK is an enclosed structure with thermal insulation, energy rating A and double glazing. You can be inside in the middle of January in total comfort. If you add air conditioning, you have full climate control.
Is a prefab gazebo better than a pergola or covered porch?
It depends on what you are looking for. A pergola protects from the sun but not from rain or cold. A NOOK is an enclosed, insulated space you can use 365 days a year, with windows that open when you want that outdoor feeling. It is a real outdoor lounge, not just a roof.
Can a prefab gazebo be installed in any garden?
The NOOK Base requires a minimum 3-metre access for the crane and a flat area of approximately 12 m2. For the NOOK Double, more space is needed. We carry out a technical site validation before confirming installation to make sure everything fits.
Do I need a licence to install a garden gazebo?
Regulations vary by municipality. The NOOK Base is under 10 m2, which simplifies the process in many localities. We provide the technical plans you need. Permit management is the client's responsibility.
Can I add a kitchen or barbecue area to the gazebo?
The NOOK Double can be configured with an integrated kitchenette (sink, worktop, storage). For a barbecue or full outdoor kitchen, the integrated deck is the ideal space - the NOOK interior maintains climate control and insulation, while the cooking area remains outdoors.
