Is a NOOK garden office really soundproofed?
The NOOK has thermal and acoustic insulation with high-density sandwich panels and double glazing. It is not a recording booth, but the difference from working at home is enormous: outside noise is attenuated, zero domestic interruptions. Most professional video calls work without issue.
Do I need municipal permission to put a prefab office in my garden?
It depends on your municipality and the size of the structure. The NOOK Base is under 10 m2, which in many localities simplifies the process. We provide all the technical documentation for your application. Permit management is the client's responsibility.
Does it have an electrical connection?
Yes. All NOOKs include electrical pre-installation, LED lighting and air conditioning preparation. The final connection to your home's consumer unit is done by your local electrician – we provide the exact specifications.
Can I use the garden office all year round in Spain?
Energy rating A. Works in Madrid's 40°C July heat and Ávila's January frosts. If you add air conditioning (available as an extra with self-sufficient solar option), you have full climate control 365 days a year.
How long does it take to have my garden office ready?
Installation in your garden is completed in under one day. The total timeframe from reservation to opening the door is approximately 10-12 weeks, including manufacturing at our plant and transport. You reserve your slot with a refundable €250 deposit.
